FACTS (Families and Children Tracking System) is a large and comprehensive
customized Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS)
established by the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources
(WVDHHR) for the administration of Title IV-E Child Welfare Programs. FACTS was
designed and developed based on the requirements established by the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and
Families, to support the state’s federal reporting for Adoption and Foster Care
Analysis and Reporting System (AFCARS) and National Child Abuse and Neglect
Data System (NCANDS).
This website is designed to enhance the experience of FACTS application users
and for disseminating information to the general public.
